Elena Beauté is a Dysport Preferred clinic. Dysport treats moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows by reducing specific muscle activity. Wrinkles are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions, which means they can even develop in younger adults. One injection into each of 5 points between and above the eyebrows temporarily prevents muscle contractions that cause frown lines, leaving the rest of your face to move naturally. In other words, no frozen look, just natural-looking results seen in as little as 3 days, with maximum benefits seen within 10-14 days. Treatments often last 3 to 4 months.
A dysport treatment involves injecting a specific muscle leading to the wrinkles with a very fine needle. During treatment you will experience a minimal pin-prick that does not require anesthetic. Immediately after treatment, you may resume normal activity. Side effects are usually mild and temporary. Mild bruising is sometimes seen and goes away within 2-3 days. In rare cases, there can be a slight drooping of an eyelid or mild asymmetry of expression, which can easily be corrected.

FOTOFACIAL
Our Alma Harmony XL Laser clears facial skin of sun damage and other brown spots. Effective, targeted, safe and FDA-cleared for aesthetic applications, this amazing handheld tool delivers IPL, or Intense Pulse Light to selected areas of the face. While there is a mild sensation of heat, the Alma Laser causes no pain and leaves patients with just a vague redness for a few days.
Used on various kinds of spots, the treatments leave skin clear in about 10 to 14 days. Amazingly, the photofacial treatment is done entirely in-office and has no special preparation. The patient relaxes in a comfortable treatment chair with his or her eyes protected by special glasses.

FILLERS:
BELOTERO BALANCE® is a prescription injection that is approved to temporarily smooth out and fill in moderate-to-severe nasolabial folds (the folds or wrinkles that go from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth). We also use Belotero in areas around the eyes that have minor hollowing.
JUVÉDERM® XC is the first and only non-surgical hyaluronic acid (HA) filler FDA-approved to instantly smooth moderate to severe wrinkles around your nose and mouth for up to one year with optimal treatment. We also use Juvederm for plumping and creating a fuller lip.

HOW KYBELLA® WORKS
The active ingredient in KYBELLA® is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA® destroys fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.
WHAT TO EXPECT WITH KYBELLA®
Before starting treatment, your healthcare specialist will examine the area under and around your chin to determine if KYBELLA® is right for you. Then, your specialist will tailor your treatment to the amount of fat under the chin and your aesthetic goals.
How is KYBELLA® administered?
Treatment can only be administered by a KYBELLA®-trained healthcare specialist. At each treatment, you will receive multiple small injections under your chin, and the injection process takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The exact number of injections will depend on the amount of fat you have under your chin and your desired profile.
How many KYBELLA® treatment sessions will I need?
Since everyone’s chin profile is different, the number of treatments varies from patient to patient. Your healthcare specialist will help determine how many treatment sessions you need based on the amount and distribution of your submental fat and your personal treatment goals. Each KYBELLA® treatment session is given at least 1 month apart, and you should not receive more than 6 treatments. In clinical studies, 59% of patients received 6 treatments.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Here at Elena Beauté, we use only Candela Laser Hair Removal machines. We are able to treat ALL skin types safely and effectively.
The laser procedure works by targeting the pigment in the hair follicle to heat it up and destroy it. It takes on average 6 treatments and must stay on a strict 5-6 week schedule. Both men and women are regulars with our fully trained and competent staff. We here at Elena Beauté only hire, PA’s (Physician Assistants) or Registered Nurses to perform any of our treatments. This can be very important in ensuring safe and lasting procedures.
Sclerotherapy is a safe and minimally invasive procedure that is used to treat varicose veins and “spider” veins. It involves an injection of an FDA approved solution directly into the varicosity. Here at Elena Beauté, we offer a in-depth vein assessment before the initial sclerotherapy session. This ensures a treatment plan and method for an effective treatment.
These types of veins can have a variety of causes. Taken from asclera.com, they may include:
Spider and reticular veins can be caused by many factors.
Heredity- Having a family member with prominent veins may increase the risk of you developing them. Approximately half of the people who get varicose veins have a family history of them.
Age- The normal wear and tear of aging may cause valves in the veins to weaken and not work as well.
Gender- Women are two to three times more likely to develop varicose veins than men. Up to half of American women have varicose veins. Changes in hormones due to puberty, pregnancy, menopause, or taking birth control pills may increase a woman’s risk of developing varicose veins.
Pregnancy- During pregnancy, the growth of the fetus increases the pressure on the veins in the legs. Varicose veins that occur during pregnancy usually improve within 3 to 12 months following delivery.
Overweight and obesity- Having extra weight on the body can put additional pressure on the veins.
Prolonged standing or sitting. This is particularly true with legs bent or crossed. When standing or sitting with legs bent or crossed, the veins have to work harder to pump the blood up to the heart.

TATTOO REMOVAL
We use the Alex TriVantage laser for tattoo removal, hyperpigmentation, and general spot removal. The Alex represents the latest advancement in the removal of tattoos, freckles, age spots, lentigines, Nevus of Ota, Café-au-Lait and more. Using laser technology, Alex TriVantage works to target and eliminate spots and tattoo ink wherever it’s found. However, the surrounding skin will remain undamaged. The treatment delivers dramatic results safely and effectively for a range of skin types.
The Candela system is less painful and requires less recovery time than some other treatment methods. The degree of discomfort varies with each person, depending on his/her pain threshold. As stated on the Alex TriVantage website, “As many patients describe it, each pulse feels like the snapping of a rubber band against the skin.” Most patients do not require pain management.
